DAY 1 - ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU

On the day of arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our Holidays At representative will assist you at airport and later transfer to your hotel for night stay. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

DAY 2 - KATHMANDU

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour around Kathmandu valley. You can visit sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, very ancient and essentially enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath and the fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflecting the ancient Nepalese culture are highlighted on our guided tour. DAY 3 - KATHMANDU - PARO (By Flight) - THIMPHU (50 Kms / 1:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later proceed to airport and board the flight to Paro. Upon reaching our representative will assist you for transfer to your hotel at Thimphu capital city of Bhutan. After refresh yourself you can visit to the National Library, a fundamental source for Buddhist scripts.

DAY 4 - THIMPHU

Today morning after breakfast, later proceed for full day guided tour to Thimphu, visit Tashichho Dzong, BBS Tower, Government Run Handicraft Emporium, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha View Point, Folk Heritage Museum, National Textile Museums, National Institute of Traditional Medicine (out side view) and Zoo. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

DAY 5 - THIMPHU - PUNAKHA (90 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Today after breakfast and check out from hotel proceed to a scenic drive from Thimphu after you have crossed over the Dochu La Pass, you can get a view of the Himalaya mountains that form the northern border of Bhutan. Later visit a traditional farmhouse for an authentic village experience. Farmhouses in Bhutan are very colourful, decorative and traditionally built with mud and stones. Upon reaching check-in to your hotel for your own leisure activities.

DAY 6 - PUNAKHA

Today after breakfast proceed for guided sightseeing tour to Punakha, including the Punakha dzong, a 17th-century fortress and the largest in the country. Later in afternoon visit the Nalanda Buddhist Institute to meet with the Buddhist monks and to enjoy the fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

DAY 7 - PUNAKHA - PARO (130 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later proceed to Paro. Upon reaching check-in to your hotel and refresh yourself to continue your sightseeing to visit Ta dzong which was originally the watchtower of Paro Dzong and was renovated in 1968 to house the National Museum of Bhutan. Later, enjoy a cooking class in spicy Bhutanese cuisine.

DAY 8 - PARO

Today morning after breakfast enjoy the spectacular walk to the iconic 300-year-old Tiger’s Nest Monastery, where it is believed Guru Padmasambava landed on the back of a tiger in the 8th century. The return walk takes about 5 hours. Later continue your visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which now houses National Museum. Its extensive collection includes antique thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons & armour, household objects and a rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts. Also followed by a short walk to visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), meaning (‘fortress of the heap of jewels’). Along the wooden galleries lining the inner courtyard are fine wall paintings illustrating Buddhist lore such as four friends, the old man of long life, the wheel of life, scenes from the life of Milarepa, Mount. Sumeru and other cosmic Mandala. In the evening time you can take a stroll around Paro main street, visiting shops & local market.

DAY 9 : PARO - KATHMANDU (By Flight)

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later proceed to airport and board the flight to Kathmandu. Upon reaching our representative will assist you for transfer to your hotel at Kathmandu. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.
